Why take this course?
This VRQ offers the opportunity to complete the College-based training component of the Vocational Competence Qualification (VCQ) whilst teaching those who already have a Level 5 qualification in diagnostic skills – essential for this Level 7 course. The VCQ is the recognised qualification for those who are employed in the industry and is completed in the workplace.
What you will experience
You will study a wide range of topics including engine and transmission diagnostics, chassis and electrical diagnostics, and how to analyse and interpret results.
Applicants must have successfully completed an SCQF Level 5 qualification in this discipline.

You must supply your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and a pen.
