Why take this course?
This course is for those with basic computer competency, e.g. those who can effectively use a mouse and keyboard, and open/close windows, files and documents.
What you will experience
You will explore a range of essential functions, including:
- Managing files and folders to organise your computer and data
- Searching the internet effectively using an up to date web browser
- Understanding search engines and their functions
- Sending and receiving emails
- Transferring information from the internet to a word processing package
- Printing from various information sources
Please note that course content may be tailored by the tutor to meet the needs of individual groups of learners.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
