Why take this course?

This course is aimed at learners with some additional learning support needs. It provides a broad practical introduction to hospitality, which enables students to develop the skills and knowledge – as well as general Core Skills – required to gain employment in the hospitality sector, or progress to further study. A work experience placement is also built into the course to further prepare students for progression.

What you will experience

You will study the City & Guilds Certificate in Hospitality, which covers food preparation and associated cooking skills as well as marketing, planning, implementing an event, and other optional personal development units.

Core skills are developed throughout the course by combining classroom learning and practical work experience.
