Big Scottish BreakfastFriday, 13 October 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00pm
More information on this event:
Come along to the STV Children's Appeal at Fraserburgh Campus to help us speak up for children living in poverty across Scotland.
What is the Big Scottish Breakfast?
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but we often eat it on the way to work, at our desks or skip it completely. For one morning of the year, we want you to get together with friends, family or colleagues and eat breakfast together. It’s as simple as that.
Why host a big breakfast?
220,000 children are currently living in poverty in Scotland. That’s 1 child in 4 who is missing out on simple things we all take for granted – like having breakfast. STV Children’s Appeal has set up the Big Scottish Breakfast to help Scottish children get a good start to the day and the best start in life.
What will be happening?
NESCol's Level 1 catering students are running two Big Scottish Breakfast mornings with all proceeds going to the STV Children’s appeal – helping Scottish children get a good start to the day and the best start in life.
