Careers and Progression Fair at North East Scotland College

North East Scotland College is delighted to invite members of the public to attend a Careers and Progression Fair on Tuesday 2 and Thursday 4 May at its Aberdeen City Campus (Gallowgate). This event is aimed at those who wish to find out about employment opportunities and ways to progress to degree-level study. Representatives from around 30 employers and both local universities will attend on each day to share their current recruitment needs and/or give advice on next steps. This event will be open to all from 10am – 3pm.
Gill Griffin, Head of Student Services at NESCol, said, “This event is a must for anyone thinking about their next career move – whether that be through enrolling in further or higher education, changing employer or taking their first steps into employment. We are hugely grateful for the support of all of the employers and universities who will be sharing their knowledge and expertise with the students and members of the public who attend the event. We have confirmed representatives from a wide range of sectors including accountancy, child, health and social care, sport and fitness, science, computing, travel and tourism, business, administration, enterprise, hospitality, hair and beauty, retail, the uniformed services and volunteering.”
College staff will be on hand to give advice on career options, career planning, job hunting and CV support as well as information on course entry and progression.
