Social science students help food bank

A group of North East Scotland College's Level 6 Social Science students are holding a food drive in Dino's Cafe at Aberdeen City Campus from Monday 12th to Friday 16th December. The students are working with Community Food Initiatives North East (CFINE) to collect food to be distributed to the service users of Cyrenians in time for Christmas.

After carrying research into rising poverty levels in Aberdeen and the local area, the students will be displaying research findings and will be providing advice on managing food waste in your household.

The groups would be very grateful for any donations of:

• Baked beans

• Tinned meals (mince, macaroni etc)

• Tinned fruit & tinned vegetable

• Long life milk (UHT)
