Students to run pop up shop on George Street

Next week, students from the SVQ Retail course at our Aberdeen City Campus will be relocating to 346 George Street, where they will be running a pop up shop to sell a whole host of goodies for a valuable cause.

As well as being a valuable experience for the students enhancing their skills for the workplace, all the profits from the week-long event will be donated to the Scottish Charities Air Ambulance.

Fiona Duff, Learning Opportunities lecturer, said:

"This is very exciting for the students as we can take the opportunity to sell our Christmas stock, as well as decorate the shop windows and interior for the Festive Season. We also anticipate that, given the time of year, the shop may be even busier than before, giving our students an even greater chance to enhance their retail skills!"

So, if you're looking for a festive bargain and would like to support our students' learning experience, as well as a worthy cause, visit our students at the shop (346 George Street) from Monday 21-Friday 25 November.

Alternatively, if you would like to make a donation, contact Fiona at f.duff@nescol.ac.uk. All stock is welcomed, but we cannot accept electrical goods or videos.
