This course provides an overview of current regulations and explains how delegates can avoid potential harm when operating an abrasive wheel.
Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998 (PUWER), it is a legal requirement for those involved in the use of abrasive wheels to be properly trained.
New safety standards for abrasive wheels and grinding machines and new codes of practice for the safe use of these products have also been introduced.
You will learn how to identify hazards, take precautions and operate abrasive wheels safely.
This one-day course can be delivered face-to-face at a NESCol campus or at a local business premises for up to eight attendees.
