Why take this course?

This course explores a range of key topics relating to fashion business, and will provide you with the skills needed to pursue a career in the business side of the exciting and fast-paced fashion industry.

What you will experience

You will learn essential skills required for the diverse careers available in the competitive fashion retailing industry. You will develop an awareness of market levels, branding, promotion, client profiling and fashion forecasting, and build knowledge of how to use these skills in order to make an impact in fashion ventures and maximise potential success. As well as developing creative strategies in fashion, you will also learn how to apply key business standards for business enterprise in this industry.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have at least one Higher course pass. Alternatively, applicants may have completed an appropriate non-advanced course demonstrating an aptitude for the subject.

A Foundation Apprenticeship in any subject area will be considered equivalent as one unrelated Higher for entry to this course. A Foundation Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Media will be considered equivalent to a subject related Higher. The additional Higher required for entry does not require to be subject related.

For those returning to education, life skills and experience in the workplace may allow entry.
