A course for those who wish to gain experience in the various construction trades prior to securing employment, often as an apprentice.
Why take this course?
On this course you will receive an introduction to bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, and painting and decorating – giving you the basic skills needed to get started in the construction industry.
What you will experience
You will learn about painting techniques, half brick walking, angled halving joints and more!
You will also learn about the construction industry as a whole, and the importance of health and safety.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but applicants will be asked to complete an aptitude test and take part in an interview as part of the application process.
