Students should have completed the Counselling: An Introduction (Part 1) course.
Why take this course?
This National Qualification Unit will provide basic knowledge on the subject and provide you with a solid introduction to the field of counselling. The course will provide foundation skills for those considering further study in this area.

You will investigate the psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural schools of counselling and the role of the counsellor in each.
