Why take this course?
This course is designed to equip you with the skills needed to design and develop a professional website quickly and easily using Dreamweaver. This course will also prepare you to plan and build a full website, with an introduction to Photoshop as a mockup tool. It is intended for those with a good level of computer literacy and prior knowledge of basic HTML tags and CSS.
What you will experience
The course will cover the following:
- Web design in Dreamweaver CC
- Dreamweaver Interface
- Formatting using external style sheets (CSS)
- Layout web pages using <div> tags
- Formatting using external style sheets
- Creating banners and navigation bars using Photoshop
- Enhancing photographs using Photoshop
- Wireframing websites
- Mocking up a website in Photoshop
- Design and develop websites using Photoshop and Dreamweaver
- Test, maintain and upload websites
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However prior knowledge of the following is required:
- HTML tags
- <div> tags in web structuring
- Inserting images into a webpage
Alternatively, you should have successfully completed the Introduction to Web Design course.
