Why take this course?
This course is a good option if you want an introduction to computer hardware and to further develop your IT skills. It will give you a good understanding of basic computer hardware and software installation and maintenance as well as helping you to develop troubleshooting skills. You will also gain an understanding of cyber security issues.
What you will experience
Working in our specialist computer hardware labs, you will get lots of practical hands-on exposure to hardware components and work towards a City & Guilds Level 2 ICT Systems Support qualification.
The course also incorporates a City & Guilds IT User Award.
