Why take this course?
This short course will show you how to make and decorate delicious cupcakes and cake pops, perfect for parties and events.
What you will experience
You will learn how to bake perfect cupcakes every time, and how to enhance and embellish your creations with beautiful decorations! You will also learn how to make cake pops - a delicious truffle-like cake dipped in pure melted chocolate, and the latest trend in baking and cake decoration. Course content will focus on:
- Basic tools and equipment
- Cupcake and decoration recipes
- Covering and decorating techniques
- Cupcakes for special occasions
- Piping and sugar paste work
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
What you will need
Students are required to bring an apron to class each week. You may also have to bring some ingredients, but specific requirements will be made known at the course induction.

The cost of core ingredients are included in the course fee.
