Why take this course?
Everyone loves home-baked cakes. This course is aimed at beginners with a sweet tooth and a passion for cooking, and will help you learn to bake and decorate a lovely selection of traditional cakes. The course fee includes expert tuition, and you will also be provided with recipes to take home - this means you can practice your new culinary skills along with friends and family!
What you will experience
You will get lots of opportunities to bake and decorate a selection of home bakes, mouthwatering shortbread to perfecting a light and delicious victoria sponge. Throughout the course you will master basic skills and techniques. As you progress you will build on your skills, giving you the confidence and competence to tackle more sophisticated techniques and complex recipes.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
What you will need
The cost of core ingredients will be covered in the course fee, but you may be required to bring some basic ingredients. Specific requirements will be made known at the course induction.
