Develop intricate skills in bridal hairstyling.
Why take this course?
This course will allow you to carry out a range of bridal hairstyles with confidence, so that you can create a personalised bridal look.
What you will experience
You will use a combination of skilled techniques and approaches to perfect different styles and create different looks, whilst gaining valuable hands-on experience in our expert training salons. You will explore safe working practices and research bridal styling, as well as the effects of hair structure before/during styling.
Three looks are carried out for summative assessment, including one classic, one contemporary and one style of your choice.
The course is suitable for those who have a Hairdressing qualification at level 1 or level 2 and/or have been working in the industry for around two years. You will be expected to possess consultation and health and safety qualifications or appropriate work experience from a salon.
Good communication skills, a willingness to learn new practical skills and working with the general public are essential qualities for successfully achieving this qualification.
What you will need
You will need a kit comprising of items to use during practical activities. You will be provided with a list of items required and possible suppliers.
Black trousers, black top and closed toe shoes are required to be worn at all times in the salon.
