Why take this course?

This course will provide you with the fundamental skills needed to perform high-quality manicure treatments. Learn how to carry out these practical activities maintaining effective health, safety and hygiene procedures.

This is a preparation for work unit, which is based on capability and knowledge.

What you will experience

You will learn all about providing manicure treatments, including exfoliation, heat treatments (such as paraffin wax, hot oil and heated mitts) and the application of nail polish. By the end of the course you will be able to prepare and provide manicure treatments on clients.

You will need a kit comprising of items to use during practical activities. You will be provided with a list of items required and possible suppliers.

Black trousers, black top and closed toe shoes are required to be worn at all times in the salon.
