Why take this course?
This course is for anyone looking to continue learning a modern language for leisure or vocational purposes at National 3 level.
The main aim of this Intermediate course is to provide learners with the opportunity to develop talking and writing skills in Italian and to develop their knowledge of simple language in the contexts of society, learning, employability and culture. Learners who complete this Unit will be able to:
- Use simple spoken language in conversations
- Use simple written language
What you will experience
During the course, learners will have the opportunity to practice speaking, reading, writing and listening in Language language. Classes will be fun and will involve working in pairs, small groups to give practical experience.
It is recommended that learners complete National 3 Introduction to Italian (Understanding Language) prior to undertaking this course.

You may be asked to purchase a recommended textbook.

Learners will be formally assessed within the classroom.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners could progress onto other modern languages courses.
