Entry requirements
Applicants should be in S4 – S6 and possess the following:
- A pass in National 4 Maths
- An interest in engineering or renewable energy
The NPA is designed as a pre-apprenticeship course with a strong emphasis on practical skills, making it ideal for pupils who are interested in a career in the engineering sector. It equips candidates with a solid foundation of engineering knowledge and the hands-on workshop experience that employers value.
NESCol has partnered with BlueFloat Energy to offer senior phase pupils the opportunity to complete this NPA in Engineering.
Pupils selected for the course will study two days a week throughout the academic year at NESCol‘s Fraserburgh Campus (site visits will be included in this). The course will also have some work to do outside of College time.
