All About Apprenticeships

An opportunity for young people and their parents/carers to learn about the different types of apprenticeship opportunities in the region.
Are you a young person who is starting to think about your future career path? Did you know that apprenticeships offer opportunities to gain qualifications while you’re still at school, earn while you learn or work towards a degree? Find out more at our All About Apprenticeships event.
Who is the session for?
The session is for young people from school age up to the age of 24 who are based in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire, plus their parents and carers. Teachers are also encouraged to attend.
What can I expect?
During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to browse stands and chat to local employers about the apprenticeship opportunities that they offer.
The event will also feature short presentations on:
- The three key levels of apprenticeship – Foundation, Modern and Graduate
- Where to find local live apprenticeship opportunities
- Real life employer and apprentice experiences
Speakers will be available for a Q&A session following the presentations. All registered attendees will also receive a toolkit with follow-up resources and links.
