More information on this event:

Three information events are being held in February specifically for pupils who are interested in studying a Foundation Apprenticeship during S5 and S6.

Foundation Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for pupils to gain accredited, industry recognised qualifications and experience work based learning whilst remaining at school for S5 and S6. Pupils who select a Foundation Apprenticeship alongside school based Senior Phase qualifications will have the opportunity to progress to university, college, employment, or gain advanced entry into a Modern Apprenticeship upon leaving school.

What do these events involve?

These events - at our Aberdeen Altens Campus, Aberdeen City Campus and Fraserburgh Campus, will offer pupils the chance to come along and find out more about the programmes, speak to curriculum staff and address any queries that they might have before completing their application. Parents are also welcome.

Please note that these events are for current S4 pupils who are planning to stay on at school until the end of S6. The focus is on Foundation Apprenticeships only. As a result, there will be no information about general School Links courses or other types of Apprenticeship.
