NESCol Apprentice of the Year shortlist announced

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week North East Scotland College has launched the NESCol Apprentice of the Year awards, sponsored by Moray East Offshore Windfarm.

Assessors have been asked to nominate apprentices that have excelled in their learning journey and the shortlist is published today.

The winners will be announced at two celebratory events held at the College's Aberdeen Altens and Fraserburgh Campuses next week. Here employers, apprentices, friends and family will gather together to recognise the achievements of all apprentices who have completed their Modern Apprenticeship qualification over the last 12 months.

Covering apprentices who have completed programmes in Automotive, Engineering and Fabrication and Welding.

The Ian Corney Memorial Award

A further award will be presented on 5th March at Fraserburgh Campus. The Ian Corney Memorial Award recognises the outstanding effort and achievement of those apprentices currently undertaking an apprenticeship in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The shortlisted candidates are:
