NESCol invites contributions to its British Sign Language (BSL) plan

North East Scotland College is writing a British Sign Language (BSL) plan.  In the plan, we will outline the actions we will take from 2018 until 2024 to support the long-term goals published by the Scottish Government in its BSL National Plan.  Our plan will aim to ensure equal access to services and support for BSL users at the College.  We are committed to working with people who are D/deaf and Deafblind and invite them to contribute to the development of the plan.  To discuss the actions to be included, we are inviting interested parties to a public consultation organised by Aberdeen City Council at the Town House on 20 September.  The University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University will also be represented at the event.

Please contact InterTrans on 01224 523542 or e-mail: intertrans@aberdeencity.gov.uk to book a space and to advise of additional dietary, access or communication needs.  Spaces can also be booked via this link:
