NESCol students play Santa for Grampians Women's Aid

The First Steps in Care (SCQF Level 3) group have delivered £150 worth of Christmas Stocking Fillers for teenagers, primary aged and pre school children to Grampian Women's Aid. The organisation helps women in crisis as a result of domestic violence and provides emergency housing and support.

Christmas is a critical period in their year with many women and children arriving for help with little more than what they stand up in.  As part of their Enterprise class the students collected money from all the Aberdeen City Campus care faculty classes and then shopped for the Christmas gifts.  Today these were delivered to the organisations's head office in Mastrick.

Hopefully this will keep the magic of Christmas alive for the children who pass through their doors over the festive season.
