NC Social Sciences students at the College's Fraserburgh Campus have managed to raise a phenomenal amount of money for three charities.
The money was raised by holding a charity fair in the Fraserburgh Campus Atrium, and a music night in the town.
Students came up with the idea of holding a charity fair to raise funds which involved two of them busking, several fundraising games and a brilliant raffle. It also involved some Level 2 Beauty students who helped raise funds by offering a range of hand, arm and nail treatments.
The charity fair raised a whopping £339.10 and the music night raised £392.06 - so a total £731.16 goes to the three nominated charities: the Syrian Refugee Crisis, The Fishermen's Mission and The Royal British Legion. Each of these charities will now receive £243.72!
Thank you to all individuals and business who so kindly donated raffles to the cause and helped out in any way. A big thank you to all of the students involved, too!
