Ellon resident Miranda Sheehan was working in Human Resources before she graduated from the College with a CIPD Diploma in HR.
As she studied, she continued to work in an HR Administrator role at Dragados UK Ltd. After only ten months, she received a promotion to HR Advisor, and her success in the workplace is something she puts down to doing the course alongside her job.
She said: “The course has enabled me to demonstrate academic knowledge that I could put into practice as an HR Advisor.”
Having successfully completed her course at NESCol, Miranda is looking to the future and is hoping to further her qualification even more through studying a Masters in Human Resources Management at Robert Gordon University.
“I am delighted to say that after successfully completing the diploma, I have received a conditional offer to continue my studies to achieve a Masters in Human Resource Management. Completing the CIPD Diploma combined with my working experience has contributed towards receiving this offer at Robert Gordon’s University.”
