College Connect: Connecting you to GCU
GCU offer a range of services through their dedicated College Connect Academy, aimed at making the transition from College to university easier for you.
The College Connect website from GCU can help to provide students with information about what degree courses you can access from your current course of study via their Pathfinder Tool – this will also provide you with an insight into life and study at GCU.
Membership of the College Connect Academy will enable you to take part in a varied and exciting programme prior to starting at GCU, and will allow you to access a range of academic, social and career development activities. You will also get the opportunity to meet with current students who have also progressed from College to university.
If you apply and are offered a place, you will become a member of College Connect, GCU’s Associate Student Scheme. This means you will receive a GCU Student ID Card, and be able to:
- Visit and borrow materials from the GCU library
- Access the Virtual Learning Environment: GCU Learn
- Use support services including the Learning Development Centres and Careers & Employability
- Join the ARC (our health and well-being centre) and the Students’ Association
