“I came to NESCol when I left school to study on the Construction Crafts (SCQF Level 5) course, which lets you experience the different construction trades. It was great to find which one I enjoyed most and felt confident in before I started looking for a job. By the end of the course I’d managed to get an apprenticeship as a joiner with Aberdeen City Council and I’m now back at the Altens Campus on block release to complete my SVQ Level 3 in Joinery.
