October 23, 2026

A power outage affecting the Tower Block at Aberdeen City Campus occurred late this afternoon (Friday 23 October). Contractors are working to resolve the issue.

As a precaution, the Campus will be closed to all staff and students on Monday 26 October.

Staff affected should work remotely for the day. Students should access the MyNESCol virtual learning environment for information specific to their course.

School pupils due to attend NESCol’s City Campus as part of their timetable should not travel to College. Please follow the instructions from your school.

An update for Tuesday will be shared by email, MyNESCol, the NESCol website and social media channels on Monday afternoon.

Aberdeen Altens Campus, Fraserburgh Campus and the Scottish Maritime Academy are unaffected.
