How successfully businesses manage change varies significantly, depending on the nature of the business, the type of change and the people involved. Our world is rapidly evolving, and organisations must respond quickly to stay competitive.

A key part of success depends on how deeply people within the organisation understand the change process. This course will help you grow your understanding of why change is necessary, and why others may feel resistant to change in the workplace.

Participants will gain a knowledge of theoretical models for managing change and learn how to apply these strategies in real life situations.

What you will experience

This interactive one-day course can be delivered face-to-face at a NESCol campus, online using Microsoft Teams or at a local business premises for four to twelve attendees.

You will learn how to:

  • Recognise and accept the reasons for change
  • Understand the reasons for resistance to change
  • Identify ways of managing change effectively
  • Understand theoretical models and consider how these can be applied in practice
