Students wishing to study the HND on a part-time basis should undertake the HNC Electrical Engineering programme in the first instance.
This course provides the 18 credits needed to top up an HNC Electrical Engineering qualification in order to achieve the HND Electrical Engineering qualification.
This award will develop your ability to apply analysis and synthesis skills to the solution of electrical engineering problems. You will gain knowledge, understanding and skills in a range of core electrical principles, electrical power systems, electrical machine principles and electrical safety at Higher National level.
This course has a number of assessable reports and a graded unit project which will need completion and access to study materials outwith class time. Significant preparation for assessment and examination is also required.
