Why take this course?
The aim of this course is to take you to a standard which will qualify you for a National Certificate Group Award, enabling you to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in electrical engineering.
This is a 12 credit SQA NC Award, and to gain the award you are required to be successful in 12 credits.

- Single and Three Phase Induction Motors
- Cable Ratings and Overcurrent Protection Devices

Entry requirements
You should have a Mathematics or Physics qualification at Standard Grade Credit, Intermediate 2 or National 5 level.
What you will need
All materials are supplied or provided through Library+ and online resources.
Fee Waiver (Remission of Fees)
Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are: in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
