There are no formal entry requirements. However, it is recommended that students on this course have previous experience using a sewing machine or have completed our Sewing Bees introductory course previously.
Learn to create your own bespoke patchwork blanket, cushion, or bedspread using recycled fabric in this beginner’s course. Whether it’s a gift for a loved one or something for yourself, you’ll save money and help the environment too.
During this course you will learn about the different tools, cutting techniques, layouts, pressing techniques and how to line everything up and sew it perfectly. Each student can create their own item and design, with support and guidance from our experienced sewing and textiles tutor.
