What you will need
Students who attend our evening class and day release classes will have to provide the following:
- Flameproof boilersuit
- Safety boots
- Welding gauntlets
- Safety glasses
- Welding helmet
On this course you will gain extensive practical experience of welding, and on successful completion you will be awarded an SQA certificate. The course is suitable for all levels – from beginner to intermediate, up to coded standard.
You will be given the option to choose from MIG,TIG or MMA processes. After choosing your specialism, you will be provided with lots of opportunity to refine essential techniques and approaches.
