This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in, or would like to follow a career in general sports massage or injury/illness rehabilitation.

This short course will provide an introduction to the theory and practical techniques used in sport and exercise massage, which can be a basis for progression onto further studies.
This is a practical course and therefore students will be required to carry out treatments with clients. For training purposes, students will also be required to carry out massage techniques on other students.
On completion, students should be able to identify and apply different massage techniques used in sport and exercise massage.

You will need to wear appropriate clothing to take part in the practical elements of this course, details of which will be discussed at the first class.
Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are: in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
