Why take this course?

Most adults applying for British Citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) must pass the Life in the UK Test.

This course will help you prepare for the test. You’ll learn about the topics covered in the test through tutor support, guided study, and practice questions.

You will also gain valuable digital skills. This includes building your confidence with computers and learning about the online systems used at the test centre. These skills will help you for both the test and in everyday life.

Please note that this is a preparation course only and not the actual Life in the UK Test. If you wish to take the official test, you must book it separately through the Home Office. Although NESCol is an approved test centre, test bookings are not made through the College.
